Maintenance Person

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £13.20 per hour + competitive benefits + overtime rates 

Are you a skilled maintenance person with a passion for creating safe and welcoming environments?  

What we're looking for: 

We are looking for someone who has experience in maintenance, ideally in healthcare or senior living environments who: 

• Knows your way around basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks 

• Is a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail 

• Is self-motivated and good at managing your own time 

• Is a great communicator and a team player 

• Can keep your work area clean and safe 

• Has basic IT skills 

• And you're willing to learn whatever you need to do the job right 

Role & Responsibilities  

• Swiftly and efficiently handle any general maintenance work and record-keeping within the care home. 

• Guarantee all Compliance and Mandatory checks are completed and recorded within the designated timeframe. 

• Prioritise a safe environment for all our residents and colleagues.  

• Maintain all equipment utilised by employees and residents to the highest standard, ensuring it's always ready for use. 

• Keep garden areas, driveways, and paths tidy and welcoming at all times.

• Follow all purchasing routines as outlined by Meallmore Ltd. We're here to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely for you.
